Hello Chaps, hopefully some of you will have noticed that I've not been here for a while whilst I've under taken a major restructuring of my life ! Yes after 27 years with BT I've finally had enough and at the end of April left them for good. YIPPEEEEEE.
For the past few months I have been doing some voluntary work, 2 days a week helping the girls and boys - (they all seem very young to me), at the RAINBOW TRUST CHILDREN'S CHARITY, and two days a week at the WILDLIFE AID charity in Leatherhead. I have of course still been match fishing every wednesday.
As I used to do most of my writing whilst between work at BT, I have struggled over the last few months to make time to blog on here. However, now I have my broadband installed at home, I can get back to the blogging I so enjoy.
So, pop back here occasionally to see what has been going on in my match fishing life, I hope to have a couple of updates posted in the next day or two.

Drennan Lake Floats - I used to use these floats for crucians and have recently started using them again for my silvers fishing, The cane bristle makes them especially sensitive.
I use this hook for nearly all my carp fishing from Size 10's with paste, 14's with the knotless knot on the lead and 18's for Hook in the loop rigs and they have never let me down.
How smart are this lot - Andy May and his wife with some of the motley Total fishing.com crew. There is a small pond just out of the picture and they fished a small sweepstake between the wedding ceremony and the reception ! Andy May won, Haisman was last - no change there then !
