Getting a Buzz from your fishing.

Willinghurst regular Mick Keeper won a new fishing cap the other month and having washed it – to stop the dye running the first time he wore it, he hung it outside under cover to dry. On Sunday he couldn’t find his usual cap so grabbed his new one, chucked it in his net bag and put it on when the match started.

As the match began, after a couple of minutes of watching his float, Mick felt a strange sensation of movement under his cap, he quickly whipped it off, brushed the top of his head and looked down to see a LARGE WASP floating on the surface of the water. A close inspection under the inside brim revealed another 6 of it’s mates that were apparently hibernating in there !!!!!

Moral of the story is to check your fishing caps / hats before putting them on.
